Step Up Hub is pleased to announce the success of our first training session for the Ready4Success Employment and Confidence Building Project – here in the borough of Brent.
We successfully hosted over 10 women at the first session, which included an induction, and an overview of the project. Tebussum Rashid – the project’s trainer and the CEO of Step Up Hub – facilitated an engaging discussion on how women often sell themselves short, and how we can all be better at building ourselves up.
The women had the chance to get to know one another, and share their hopes for how the project can assist them. The 1st training session finished with group sharing about skill sets, and how women who believe they lack skills (because they are mothers or housewives) actually possess and incredible about of valuable talents and skills – which many employers look for.
Our 2nd training will be held on Monday, December 17th at the Willesden Green Library from 9:30 a.m.
